Alhamdulillah, there are directives in Islam for traveling to acquire knowledge. Thinking about the country's current education system, many people plan for their children to study abroad for higher education. In this regard, it is necessary to know an urgent mas'ala (Islamic ruling). The opinion of the scholars (Alims) is that going to non-Muslim countries is forbidden in the hope of education or a better life unless compelled. Therefore, children can be sent to their own country or Muslim-majority countries for higher education.
